Bourbon Pear Spritzer with Sage
Ginger, pear, sage and your choice of Bourbon make a lovely autumn drink. This signature cocktail will be a great addition to your Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving menu.
- 1 ½ oz bourbon
- 2 oz fresh pear juice
- 2 oz ginger ale
- 1 tbsp ginger sage simple syrup
- 1 pear
- Fresh Soli Organic Sage
- Take a glass filled with ice and mix in bourbon, pear juice, ginger ale, and ginger sage simple syrup.
- Add a pear garnish and sprigs of Soli Organic Sage.
*Ginger Sage Simple Syrup
Combine equal parts water to sugar (1 cup each), 5 cubes of frozen ginger, 4-5 sage leaves and add ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat, until simmering. Be sure to continually whisk until the sugar is dissolved. Once combined and simmering, remove from heat and let it sit for 5-10 mins for the flavors to absorb. Remove and discard sage sprigs. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
